Hello ladies and gentleman, you all remember the update where SS got 'nerfed', I know I do and I was pissed, but wasnt for long as in the first week after the nerf(we tried a lot of different things) me and my uw buddy (guy I have always uw'd with since ever) found a solution that worked even better than before the update, so the update only did us good instead of bad. Anyways we decided not to share it with anyone and we didnt but I think it is about time we did, and oh yeah you already need to know the basics of the run for you to completely be able to do this especially now with the SoA cast time which is longer.

* I MADE THIS TUTORIAL WITH THE HERO NAMED OLIAS BECAUSE IT WAS EASIER THAT WAY, IF YOU ACTUALLY PLAY WITH A HUMAN SS U CAN ALSO DO ICE KING *

~EQUIPMENT~

I will start off with the equipment

only thing you need is a staff really which is modded like this:

The necro can use stonereaper green.

~ATTRIBUTES + Skills~

as for the attributes the monk has to be set up like this:

and the necro needs to have:

Awaken The Blood, Spiteful Spirit, reckless haste, defile enchantment, balthazars spirit, mending, essence bond, rebirth(just incase)

16 curse
10 blood(8+2)
8 heal
whatever is left in soulreaping

~THE RUN ITSELF~

Okay let's start with the run, it is quite hard especially now rend enchantment is 1 sec cast time which i didnt know until making this tutorial

(to counter that you just have to cast SB as soon as the nightmare pops up and not a second later) so after setting up your skills + equipment you enter UW, after spawning the necro puts all the enchantments on the monk and ofcourse the monk casts blessed aura on himself.

* THE RUN WORKS WITH BODYBLOCKING SO ITS VERY IMPORTANT U DO THEM RIGHT, SO WHEN THEY AGGRO THE SS THEY CANT GET PASSED U WHICH ALSO RESULTS IN A FAIR AMOUNT OF FOES NOT ATTACKING YOU THAT IS WHY THE SS SHOULD ALWAYS CALL IT ON WHAT FOE HE CASTS SS ON SO THE MONK CAN WAND HIM AND TAKE THE AGGRO BACK ON HIM SO THE SS'D FOE DOES DAMAGE *

Once the monk is all enchanted up you run forward to the first group and kill them. <screenshot>
Afterwards you (if u play with human SS he takes it) take the quest from Lost Soul and run back right away but be careful when taking the quest so u dont aggro the aatxe's above you. Okay so after taking the quest you run back to where you killed the first group and try to keep sv/av as much as possible on you and aggro all the grapses that have spawned + the 2 groups of aatxe that are there(dont get the group up the steps, yet) once you have aggro'd them slowly walk back while pushing urself against the ledge of the cliff thingy(no idea what its called) so you can create a good body block(the most important thing!!!!) once ur done it should be something like this: <screenshot> and here are the aatxe who didnt scatter dead: <screenshot>

*NOTE: WHEN ITS 3 OR LESS FOES YOU DONT HAVE TO BODY BLOCK BECAUSE THEY WONT SCATTER ANYWAY AND COLDFIRES DONT SCATTER AT ALL NO MATTER HOW MANY OF THEM THERE ARE*

Okay moving on, just kill the 2 aatxe's on the steps and after that kill the other 2 aatxe's at the backsteps. After killing the aatxe's at backsteps you can now freely move into the chamber and remember since there are graspes + nightmares you want to keep up SV as much as possible!(when you have SB on and SV and the foes attacking you have low energy as a result of that the Nightmare Blood is power's himself to dead which is quite nice) so moving in:<screenshot> you have to be careful you dont lose the bonds from the necro so the necro has to stay in radar range otherwise you are pretty much dead! after aggroing all the graspes and aatxe there you move up to the narrow path <screenshot> and body block them against the wall and once you think the block is good tell the necro to come so he can SS the Foe's<screenshot> when doing this be VERY careful that you dont aggro the terrorwebs because they can be quite a pain in the @#% if you do, and oh ye when aggroing the graspes + aatxe dont get bodyblocked! after you have killed them move downstairs and get the other 4 aatxe <screenshot> there and then go back because its almost time to kill some smites, but first you have to kill the aatxe + graps who are blocking the way to them, so you aggro them body block and call for the necro and ss them till they die.

* NOTE BODY BLOCK SPOTS DONT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE ON THE SAME PLACE JUST BODY BLOCK ON A SPOT YOU THINK IS THE BEST FOR YOU, ALSO IF YOU BODY BLOCK A GROUP OF FOES TO FAR FROM ITS SPAWN WITH THEIR BACK IS HEADED TO THEIR SPAWN THEY MIGHT RUN BACK THERE SO KEEP THAT IN MIND *

okay once the path is clear we move on to the smites! just aggro the first or two groups of smites that are close to each other <screenshot> and body block them <screenshot>
after they are dead aggro the 2 or sometimes 3 coldfires that patrol that area <screenshot>
and once the coldfires are dead try to aggro every single smite around the water area and once you have, again body block them against a wall and you as a block in front and SS <screenshot>

after killing the smites around the water aggro the colds <screenshot> and walk up the ramp to aggro the patroling coldfires aswell and then run back so u can get them all together nicely <screenshot> <screenshot>

When you are done with colds move up to the next groups of smites, aggro them and find a nice blocking spot like here: <screenshot>

after killing them you have to kill a few more colds to make the way clear, just lure the colds out of their patrol route and ball them up somewhere without aggroing any smites! and then kill them <screenshot>
after killing the colds there are 2 or 3 more groups of smites left, just kill them aswell like previous groups. once ur done you can continue and do Ice king but this is only possible if ur with a human SS. after Ice king you can go do chaos plains, that is what echo mainly is for but I will add that piece of the guide later as now I'm to lazy to do a complete run and make screenshots of how it works !

I'm surprised the bodyblock works so well; in my experience they seem to run around me anyway.
